We are currently experiencing intermittent speed and connection issues on our Fibre networks.
Our team is investigating the cause and speak to our upstream providers to resolve the problem.

There is an current nationwide outage on the Cell C fixed LTE network.
Cell C is busy investigating.
Additionally there will be an emergency change happening on the Cell C network this evening at 11 to increase bandwidth where clients will be down nationally.
The change will be anything between half an hour to an hour.

As per our previous communication with you, we have identified your home as having a fibre issue. This issue is fairly wide-spread and we do not think that we will be able to get to each and every home today. We have therefore decided to set up a central meeting point, where you can come and swap out your old chip for a new chip. The chip is really quick and easy to replace. We believe that this is the quickest way for you to get up and running again.
Please come and visit us at Fairbridge Mall Brackenfell between 17h00 & 19h00 today or between 09h00 and 12h00 tomorrow morning. Look out for the bright pink VUMA bakkies to locate us.
Please bring your old chip with you so that we know to give you a new chip. Please watch the video below to see how to remove your chip from the CPE - and how to put your new chip in, when you get back home.

We are aware of clients in the Cape Town region being affected by an outage on Vumatel FTTH network.
Vumatel has issued the following notice and we are asking all affected clients to kindly mail their details to Vumatel as requested below should you be affected.
There is no ETA at this point in time on the outage as Vumatel needs to replace some clients CPE devices one by one at their homes.

There is a current system issue with our backbone providers which is affecting certain clients with internet connectivity.

The issue has been identified and the emergency standby team has reached a point that requires the assistance of the main sys admin team.
Due to the public holiday the main sys admin team will only be available tomorrow morning.
This is of highest priority and will be dealt with first thing tomorrow morning by the sys admin team to resolve.

There is an issue on the Cell C LTE / IS network at the moment causing the LTE usage tracker to not update correctly.
Accounts may still show data available and stop working when the capped gets hit as the LTE usage tracker is not reflecting correctly.
Top ups are also not currently reflecting correctly as well.
